Statement
Questioning scale, my location within systems, ephemerality, sublimity, and the things I can see but do not know. These curiosities drive the works on paper and books I create. My interest in ephemerality, and subsequently books comes from their ability to spread, travel, and reach places far beyond my own hands. I often think of scale as both personal and all-encompassing. I use systems, grids, and constraints to understand where things go, belong, or could go. In this series of drawings and multiples I drew from these inquiries to create a body of work that is simultaneously playful and scientific. These works are not paintings, drawings, prints, or books, but some intersection of it all.
