Delilah Silberman

In these photographs, titled In Pieces, I have dissected a single image that my mother took from a family photo album. I thought of the film “Blowup” and re-photographed this image, turned it into a 120mm film negative, then into a piece of lith film, split that apart, and ultimately blew each section up on 20 x 24 fiber paper in the darkroom. I moved closer and ended up further away.
